Young Neighbors in Action Youth Mission Trip For students completing Grades 9-12
Each summer St. Stephen's High School youth are given the opportunity to put their faith into action by paticipating in a week of service. The summer Mission experience provides an opportunity for teens to open their heart to God's call to help the poor and vulnerable. Alongside their peer's, they have the opportunity to serve those in need in our own "backyard" while learning more about Social Justice and our Christian response.
A LIFE OF SREVICE: Lives are transformed by sharing in the ministry of the Church through serving our brothers and sisters who are in need of your presence and help.
A LIFE OF COMMUNITY: Teens live as the early Christian communities as they share in prayer, service and have the opportunity to learn what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ to others. Adults are invited, as working partners and advisors, to attend and work alongside the youth. Adults volunteer are needed as drives, mentors and advisors. Participating teens and adults make a year long commitment to fundraise and grow together in support through team meetings, formation. and FundRaisers to help pay for the Mission Trip.
