That all members of the Church may be strengthened in holiness and truth, and walk in the fear of the Lord, we pray:
That divisions will be healed, violence will cease, and the peace and justice of God’s kingdom will reign in every nation on earth, we pray:
For the poor, the vulnerable, the lonely, and the forgotten: that they know the security and love of Jesus, we pray:
For those suffering from mental illness, that they may be healed in mind, body, and spirit, and freed from loneliness and despair, we pray:
For the volunteers, staff and ordained, who follow their call to serve our communities and parishes in the ministries and programs supported by the Annual Catholic Appeal, we pray:
That the Risen Christ may heal the sick and comfort all who are afflicted in any way, especially, Mary Schofield, Greg Fisher, Manny Guttierez, Linda Gutierrez,
Melvin Sabater, and for those whose names are on our prayer chain and written
in our prayer intention book, we pray:
That those who have died may share fully in the promise of the Resurrection, we pray:
Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive you Sacramentally, come at least
spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
Anima Christi
Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O Good Jesus, hear me.
Within Thy wounds hide me.
Suffer me not to be separated from thee.
From the malignant enemy defend me.
In the hour of my death call me and bid me come unto Thee;
That with all Thy saints I may praise thee, forever and ever.
Amen.
Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him we humbly pray;
and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God,
cast into hell, Satan, and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
