• A revised PC member strengths list and domain grid was reviewed

 
Vision – Sharing the Transforming Light of Christ

• Reminder: Keep in mind the Vision priorities for all discussions/recommendations
• Members shared how they saw the vision being lived in the parish during the last month

 
Ministry Reports – Written Reports Review and Questions

• Finance Council
  • See written report.
• Youth Formation-Debbie Blomquist
  • Debbie reviewed upcoming youth event schedule and Staff conferences being attended
  • Shannon is exploring different Data Base options to use for the Children’s and Youth formation programs.
  • Brandon and Evan spoke about the youth leadership team and Youth Events
    • It is hard with all the activities youth are involved in to find time to consistently participate in youth ministry program
    • Evan suggested looking into a better communication tool like “Remind” to connect with youth and their parents
    • Evan suggested that communicating with parents and encouraging them to help their children be more engaged in youth programs.

  • No updates: Commission structure/members is under review

 
Vision Team Update – Tom

• Vision team met 11/13/18
  • Team worked on team operating guidelines and roles at 11/13 meeting
• Next meeting scheduled for 12/5/18
  • At 12/5 meeting Team will review a draft of the complete charter make edits and propose final draft to be signed             
• Charter will be shared with PC once completed

 
Holy Trinity Charismatic Renewal Prayer Ministry Proposal

• A recommendation on how to move forward with this ministry was submitted in writing to Fr. Ed   before he left for Ireland
  • Anne and Janet are working with this group to set up guidelines before they start meeting

 
Gospel Reading (Lectio Divina) MK 13:24-32

• Share what the gospel is calling you to do; What stood out to you?

 
PC Holiday Celebration this year

• It was discussed that our next meeting 12/12/18 would be a pot luck Holiday Celebration in the Outreach center
• More information about plans will be sent out as soon as possible

 
Father Ed Update

• Fr. Ed was not present at this meeting

 
Pastoral Priorities

• Adult and Youth leadership teams have been formed and are working on program and event plans.
  • Debbie will continue to update council on progress and plans for Youth Ministry programs
• Plans for Communication and Stewardship of talents priorities still need to be worked on.
  • PC will provide time in future meetings to brainstorm ideas to make plans in improving these priority areas.
