  • LIFE TEEN - High School Youth Ministry (Grades 9-12)

The Life Teen Mass is a high-energy Catholic Mass aimed to engage the teenagers and all parishioners in full active participation in the Mass.  Due to Covid 19 the Life Teen Mass  is not currently being offered at St. Stephen's.

Register now, so we can keep you included and informed!
Parents are encouraged to register your high school youth so that you and your teen will be listed in the database and will receive calendars and updates regarding upcoming Life Teen events and opportunities.
Online registration will provide the permission forms that are necessary in order to participate in both online and in person Youth Ministry gatherings.

There is NO Fee to Register for Life Teen,  however there may be a charge for resources for some of the different small group sessions (Bible Study, Apologetics, etc.)  and for social events such as bowling, laser tag, etc. once we are able to offer those in person activities once again.

    What's Happening Now?
Plans are underway to provide a number of opportunities for St. Stephen the Martyr high school youth during the 2020-2021 school year.  There will be a variey of opportunities available such as Bible Studies, Apologetics Classes, Service projects,  Zoom Social / Game nights, Living Stations and more.  We are hopeful that it will be possible to participate in things such as Youth Mission Week,  Steubenville Youth Conference, Youth Retreats, etc in 2021.

  • Core Team-Adult Leaders

Adult volunteers are always needed to serve as Core Team Members, engaging the youth in community and helping the youth to make the connection between faith and their everyday life.

Core Team Members must be at least four years older than the youth that they are working with.

At St. Stephen's we  have the opportunity to journey with children and youth ages 5 - 18.

We are in need of small group leaders for the many different opportunities that will be offered this year.

    • Do you like to study the Bible or learn the why behind the what we believe as Catholics?
    • Do you like to serve the poor and those in need?
    • Do you like to play games/sports and have fun with the youth?
    • Do you like to pray?  Would you be willing to pray with the teens and help to provide them with opportunities to encounter Christ through scripture and prayer?                                                        Then maybe, just maybe, God is calling YOU to be a part of the St. Stephen's Adult Core Team.

You may be thinking, "I do not have enough training or I am not formed well enough in my own Catholic Faith."

We know that God does not always call the qualified, but He will qualifie the called?

Training opportunities are available to help small group leaders learn to lead a small group of teens.
All small groups will have two adult leaders, so you would not be in it alone.
For more information about how you can be involved or if you would like to sign up to join the team, contact
    Debbie Blomquist at sstm.youth@gmail.com.
