All parish staff and volunteers who work with the young and vulnerable are required to complete training in Safe Environment, also known as “Called to Protect.” For ongoing training follow the steps below.

 

Log into SETA, the Safe Environment training database –

· On any computer with internet access, go to www.seattle.setanet.org

· Click “My Obligations”  -  Or click here to go directly.

· Enter your name and address

o Regarding log-in problems, contact the Safe Environment program office at 800-261-4749

· Click “Submit”

 

When you locate your profile, please review you personal information to verify it is correct:

· If your address and email were unavailable when your profile was created, other information may have been provided.  Please update your profile with your correct information.

· Please make sure that all locations at which you work or volunteer are identified.

o Example – If you volunteer at both your parish and you child’s school, please make sure both locations are identified

· Click the button that says “Update Information and Continue”

 

Next you will see a screen that recaps the classes you have taken and shows the one you need for re-certification.  Follow the prompts and passwords.
